Current state of tree under

project OVERVIEW

Our current endeavor for our 20th Anniversary Celebration at our alma mater involves revamping a familiar spot from our school days, known as “TREE UNDER,” into a modern haven where students can comfortably dine during their breaks. We’re calling this rejuvenated space “THE 04 VILLAGE TREE UNDER” in honor of our association. This project will not only include food vendor cubicles but also feature upgraded concrete seating, summer huts, walkways, and an 04 mart offering essential items like drinks, water, and toiletries to cater to the needs of our expanding student body, which now exceeds 4,500.

To ensure smooth operations and maintenance, we plan to employ a local resident(an 04 member) from Apam city to oversee the facility and manage monthly maintenance fees from vendors, which will be deposited into our association’s account for future upkeep. This initiative also serves as a foundation for our 30-year Legacy Project (Brick & Mortar), aligning with Article 3.2 of our association’s guidelines, which permits both commercial and non-commercial ventures. PROJECT FINE DETAILS

BACKGROUND & SCOPE:
Our current endeavor for our 20th Anniversary Celebration to our alma mater involves revamping a familiar spot from our school days, known as the “TREE UNDER,” into a modern haven where students can comfortably dine during their breaks and serve as a hosting venue for student’s parents during visiting hours and other guest to free up the administration space which has been the use of such for many several years which ideally has not been the best.
THE DESIGN & CONCEPT: We’re calling this rejuvenated space “THE 04 VILLAGE TREE UNDER” in honor of our association. This project will include and feature but not limited to only Food vendor cubicles, comfortable eating spaces for students, upgraded concrete seatings in the garden, summer huts for parents and guests during visiting hours, well paved walkways, an 04 Mart offering students access to essential items like drinks, water, and toiletries, and many others to cater to the needs of our expanding student body which now exceeds 4,500 due to free SHS. Finally, an outdoor projector screen to allow students some relief of entertainment during champions league matches, science & math quiz viewing and any other officially approved showcasing by the management of the school to avoid students jumping fence and using unapproved routes to experience these basic life necessities as humans and also release tension after hard days of learning (All work and no Play). This project is in consonance with modern ECO friendly Developments supported by the UN on climate and the going green sustainability approach.

MAINTENANCE & SUSTAINABILITY PLAN: To ensure smooth maintenance operation of the facility, we plan to employ a local resident (an 2004 member preferred) from Apam city or it environs to oversee the facility’s management and maintenance as well as running the 04 mart. A small token of fee if approved by the school’s management board from vendors to support such maintenance, which will be deposited into our association’s account for future repairs. This initiative also serves as a foundation for our 30-year Legacy Project (Brick & Mortar) yet to be proposed.

ESTIMATED PROJECT COST: The estimated total cost for the design and build to completion will be put out as soon as the architectural design plans and the BoQs are FULLY produced.
